The first day I walked into the studio, the lovely Goddess of Rising Sun Music Recording Studios brought me coffee and asked if I was excited. I told her that I try not to get too excited while I'm working on recording a project because I need to stay objective. Now that the music and artwork are done ... now that the CD has been ordered ... now that I've spent the money I had set aside for this little venture ... now, yes, I'm excited. I've been playing most of these songs for the last year or so, and I'm excited that I'll be able to share them even more through the CD. And I'm excited that I can breathe a bit before thinking about the next CD. Hah! Yes, the next CD ... wonder what the Divine will whisper in my ear over the next few months. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
