I was going through photos from the last couple of years, and found these three full of smiles. I am so fortunate to have friends who inspire me! November 2012, Ginger Doss - an amazing musician who gets right to the soul of the matter - asked me to share a house concert with her. I said YES, and didn't tell her that I was really just starting on this bardic journey, had almost no equipment, and absolutely zero experience doing a house concert. Shhhh, don't tell her. She still doesn't know. Oh, maybe NOW she does. Or she figured it out from how geeked out I was about opening for her. At any rate, that's me and Ginger in the 2012 photo from that house concert. Then, in 2013, I had the incredible privilege to play another concert with Ginger and Lynda Millard. Holy Moly! Can you tell how excited I was? The 2013 photo shows Lynda, Ginger, Julie Jungerman (friend, fan, roadie, sometimes publicist, and a smile and enthusiasm that always makes you want to play your best), and me. And again, this November 2014, Ginger and I shared the stage at another amazing festival. Okay, so I've calmed down on the outside, but on the inside, I'm still jumping up and down ... I get to play on the same stage as Ginger and Lynda!! The 2014 photo is Ginger, Julie and me. I'm telling you, I'm really looking forward to what 2015 is going to bring.
