Hold On

the tiniest of things

in the most out-of-the-way places

the tears in your eyes

the smile on your lips

the lichen on the bedrock

hanging on for dear life

in spite of sun, rain and storm

sometimes you may feel like you are dying

that it is easier to simply let go

but it is not in your nature

and so, you hold fast to that unyielding surface

anchor yourself

and in doing so

encourage the stray wildflower

to do the same

love to all of you

do what you love

love what you do
